Defibrillator Selection

At the heart of your organization's defibrillation program are automated external defibrillators (AEDs). This equipment is typically a capital investment that your organization will own for many years. The importance of selecting the most appropriate AED from the variety of equipment on the market cannot be underestimated. Yet the task of sorting out different defibrillator technologies and claims of manufacturers can be challenging, even for healthcare providers.

In addition to automated external defibrillators, organizations typically select either a wall bracket or alarmed cabinet for securing their investment.
